Queen Elizabeth Hospital invests in two more mobile x-ray platforms

Radiographer Salisha James, lead radiographer Peter Evans, radiographer Ray Miguallis, Philips Healthcare imaging systems account manager, southern district, Dan Haggarty, sales specialist, digital x-ray, Seamus Flood, project manager Andrew Fleming, senior radiographer Sbynee Ortiz and radiographer Faron Filhosy.

Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich has acquired two further Philips MobileDiagnost wDR mobile x-ray units, which have joined the first Philips MobileDiagnost wDR system in the radiology department.  Lead radiographer Peter Evans said: “We particularly like the SkyFlow software on the system which produces grid-like images without having to use a grid.  We have significantly improved images with the same simple workflow and low patient dose, and it also allows our radiographers to fully focus on the patient.”
