R&D dosimetrist wins acclaim at ESTRO33

Presentation of research into prostate cancer treatment, carried out by R&D lead dosimetrist at Cancer Partners UK Hayley Chesham, has won an RTT poster award at ESTRO33.
The event in Vienna focused on new and emerging developments in radiation oncology, providing an opportunity for a team led by clinical research fellow Dr Hemal Ariyaratne to share its initial findings on three pieces of research, including the initial phase of Chesham’s work, analysing reduced planning target volume (PTV) margins for prostate IMRT with daily online IGRT.
