Refurbished department takes step in the right direction

The radiology department at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow has been modernised to make way for state-of-the-art imaging equipment.  A number of modalities from Philips were selected by the trust for the refurbishment, including an Ingenuity CT scanner.

Radiology service manager Darren Hobbs said: “We were impressed with the superb user interface, which makes training new staff much easier.  We also appreciate the very quick scan times.  The iDose system for reducing patient dose is a step in the right direction.”
