Eccleshill NHS Treatment Centre, Bradford has acquired a Philips iU22 ultrasound system equipped with pure wave technology and an HD15 ultrasound scanner.  The centre opened in July 2005, with Care UK running it since July 2010.

The systems are replacements that will be used for abdominal, gynaecological, vascular, small parts and MSK ultrasound.

Deputy unit manager and lead sonographer Jacquie Lee said: “We hope to expand our service with the new equipment.  We selected Philips because of the partnership offered in terms of our ultrasound service support.”
