Revolutionised service at East Surrey Hospital

At the handover of a GE Healthcare Logiq E9 ultrasound system to East Surrey Hospital are ultrasound sales specialist Jayesh Odedra, obstetrics and gynaecology ultrasound manager Deborah Chandler, general medical and vascular ultrasound manager Mandy McDade, senior sonographer Michele Mabbutt, services lead manager for diagnostic imaging Andrew Millard, senior sonographer Sharon Cook, student sonographer Esmeralda Mane and senior sonographer Katherine Knowles.

 

 

The hospital bought four ultrasound systems from GE Healthcare, three Logiq E9s and a Voluson E8.  Mandy McDade said: “We are delighted with them; they are lightweight, which is great for reducing RSI problems and the image quality is excellent.  We are an expanding department with 12 dedicated ultrasound rooms.
