Rigorous trial results in purchase

Following a rigorous trial process, the radiology department at Stepping Hill Hospital has selected a Toshiba Aplio MX ultrasound scanner.  Superintendent sonographer Chris Hooson said: “The trial highlighted the Aplio’s ability to produce excellent image quality whilst being user-friendly and flexible.   It was purchased as a replacement unit for existing, ageing equipment.

“The improved image quality and increased range of clinical applications has allowed us to be more flexible in our service delivery, which has improved patient experience.”
