TV personality Alan Titchmarsh, pictured on the couch, launched an Artis zee MP at Royal Hampshire County Hospital. With him are senior radiographer Elizabeth Hall, department sister Heather Skinner, senior radiographer Sarah Hearn, senior radiographer Corrina Connolly, radiographer Beverley Rutter, Siemens product specialist Andrew Clarke, Siemens angiography business manager Jane Whittaker, Siemens regional sales manager Paul Vaughan, medical imaging operations manager Christine Saunders and clinical director of radiology Dr Andrew Page.
Royal Hampshire County Hospital, part of Winchester and Eastleigh Healthcare NHS Trust, welcomed celebrity gardener and television presenter Alan Titchmarsh to launch its Artis zee multi-purpose (MP) interventional imaging system from Siemens Healthcare.
“We chose the Artis zee MP because our previous Siemens system had served us well and we were keen to upgrade to the latest version,” said medical imaging operational manager Christine Saunders. “We were confident that an upgrade would benefit workflow and the new system has already provided us with excellent image quality. Patients can see they are being treated in a modern facility, boosting confidence in outcomes.”
