Royal Liverpool now has fast access to images

Royal Liverpool University Hospital has chosen an Acuson X700 ultrasound system from Siemens Healthcare, the first to be installed in the UK with wireless PACS capabilities.

Lead sonographer and advanced practitioner Colin Griffin explained: “One of the primary reasons we chose the X700 was due to its wireless PACS connectivity, as it was essential that clinicians were able to access images and notes immediately after procedures, which was not possible before.  We have many other Siemens systems in the imaging department, so our staff are already very familiar with its functionality.”
