RUH stays with tried and trusted x-ray provider

Royal United Hospital Bath

Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust (RUH) has chosen the Fujifilm Visionary Suite for one of its emergency department x-ray rooms, following a full evaluation and tender process. The hospital was already familiar with the image quality and service that Fujifilm provides, as it currently uses Fujifilm PACS and CR and has three FDR Go Plus mobile units.

“We were looking for a reliable room that delivered excellent image quality and was easy to use,” said radiography team leader ED Stacey Hall. “The new Visionary Suite has delivered all of these requirements. We’ve seen a number of benefits with the new room, including an improved workflow in our busy emergency department, which images over 200 patients a day. We knew that the image quality would be excellent from our experience with the Fujifilm FDR Go mobiles and, because the systems are so easy to use, staff training has been straightforward.”

Hall added: “At every stage, we have found the Fujifilm engineers, applications specialists, account manager and project manager a pleasure to deal with.”
