Screening staff enjoy using digital mammo systems

The service, part of the NHS Breast Screening Programme, invites more than 70,000 women a year for screening in multiple centres.  It is equipped with Hologic Selenia and Selenia Dimensions digital mammography systems in mobile units that visit Sainsbury’s Sydenham, St Paul Cray and the Phoenix Centre, Bromley, complemented by static sites at King’s College Hospital, the Camberwell Building, Queen Elizabeth Hospital Woolwich and the Memorial Hospital Woolwich.

Vivien Phillips said: “We all enjoy using the Dimension units because we find them very user friendly and easily tolerated by the clients, as well as producing high quality images.”
