On a post-installation visit to the new Cromer and District Hospital, Vertec Scientific’s product specialist Bill Reid (left) finds out how staff are getting along with a Hologic Discovery A DXA scanner.  With him are radiology planned services lead Kathy Robinson-Fitt, radiology service manager Myra Knight, Cromer lead Janet Skeates and DXA lead Helen Duncan.

Robinson-Fitt said: “A second Hologic scanner was the natural choice to enhance the delivery of our osteoporosis and bone health services to the people of Norfolk.  The service is provided by the DXA team in radiology at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust incorporating Cromer and District Hospital.

“We look forward to continuing the good working relationship we have with the team at Vertec. They are always close at hand to offer advice and support with prompt service, response to queries and excellent application and clinical updates.”
