Seoul technologist gains top award

At the European Congress of Radiology’s annual meeting in Vienna Royal Philips honoured IM Seyoung as the fourth annual ISRRT DoseWise Radiographer of the Year for his promising research in cardiac imaging radiation dose management. A short ceremony was held on the Philips booth.
In partnership with the International Society of Radiographers and Radiological Technologists, the annual contest recognises the radiographer who best demonstrates exceptional dose management practices, with the ultimate goal of encouraging innovation and promoting radiation dose management around the world. A panel of experts from ISRRT judges all entries and selects the single best case. As the winner, Seyoung was provided with airfare and entry to ECR 2017 and the opportunity to present his concept to attendees.
