A team at Sheffield Children’s Hospital has been awarded the BIR/Bayer Make it Better’ service award for its work in establishing the world’s first minimally invasive autopsy service for the fetal and neonatal age group, based on MRI.
Doctors Elspeth Whitby, Marta Cohen, Amaka Offiah and Ashok Raghavan were presented with a £1,000 prize and plaque by BIR president Dr David Wilson and Bayer HealthCare northern regional business manager Ute Kallenbach at UKRC.
