Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust’s radiology department has been benefitting from three Guerbet FlowSens CT injectors, which were installed this summer.  The syringeless injectors enable the trust to be more efficient in terms of filing syringes with contrast.  Waste is reduced due the lower volume of required consumables, which has a positive environmental impact for the trust.

“The installation of these injectors has helped with efficiencies within the CT department,” said CT cross site lead radiographer Stuart Clark.  “We are now better able to tailor the contrast load to our patients and the systems have allowed us to increase the workflow through the department.”
