Sonographers wear their tunics with pride

Lead sonographer Emma Cumberbatch models her Ovarian Cancer Action branded tunic.

Ultrasound scanning company ScanAssure and uniform manufacturer Grahame Gardner Limited are together supporting Ovarian Cancer Action.

Grahame Gardner is offering to add the charity’s logo to any tunic from its range for a £1 donation and, as ScanAssure is keen to increase awareness of the charity, it selected the P146 tunic in white and maroon with the logo on. Grahame Gardner matches every donation made.

Senior sonographer Emma Cumberbatch said: “The work that Ovarian Cancer Action carries out in terms of understanding the behaviors of this particular cancer is invaluable, improving treatments, care and significantly improving the prognosis beyond diagnosis. We applaud the work they do and the opportunity to show our appreciation on our garments was ideal. We love the tunics, and I am just preparing to order more for new members of staff.”
