Southend hospital receives contrast injector

Radiographers Karstine Rado and Sheila Sillo, Bracco key account manager Phil Skinner and deputy cross-sectional superintendents Andrea Van Looy and Hannah Scott.
Southend University Hospital has improved patient turnaround time since installing a CT Exprès contrast injector from Bracco. Deputy cross-sectional superintendent Andrea Van Looy said: The CT Exprès has helped us speed up our practice significantly. It is very easy to change the patient sets and takes less than 10 seconds.
It’s given us the flexibility to change contrast and saline volumes for each patient depending on the scan they need. This allows us to do everything we can to try and ensure we get great image quality every time. Also, the unique features of the consumables avoid any possibility of cross-contamination which keeps our patients safe.
