Specially designed CT scanner for Scottish vet group

Scottish-based vet group Links Vet has recently invested in a Vimago CT scanner from BCF Technology. The CT system has been specifically designed for veterinary use by manufacturer Epica. Being significantly smaller and lighter than traditional CT systems makes it more accessible for vet practices that may not have had the space in the past.
Links Vets partner Ian Hemsley said: “We are delighted to take stock of our new Vimago CT scanner; the inclusion of this system into our technical armament has allowed us to look at images in a way that we’ve not been able to do before. The image quality is fantastic and the reporting that we’ve had back has been excellent as well.
“As with any technology, it has not been without its teething issues but BCF has been fantastic at accommodating our need to get these sorted and have been very swift at rectifying the majority of issues. The back-up support is excellent and the technical training has been very useful.”
