Specially designed training unit is a welcoming place to learn

Delegates on the inaugural course at SonoSite’s UK education centre.
SonoSite has opened a new UK education centre at Great Marlings, Luton. The purpose-designed training facility, with a comfortable lecture theatre and well-equipped training rooms, allows delegates to gain valuable ultrasound experience using up-to-date equipment.
The inaugural course, Ultrasound Guided Venous Access, was held in autumn last year. Director of the course Professor Richard McWilliams, consultant interventional radiologist at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital, said: “The centre is very bright and welcoming, equipped with the latest ultrasound systems and imaging phantoms, providing a good environment for imparting technical skills to course participants.”
