Spire Alexandra installation makes it a perfect ten

Spire Alexandra Hospital at Walderslade in Kent has become the tenth in the Spire Healthcare Group to install a Hologic Selenia Dimensions, as the private healthcare group looks to modernise its installed base of mammography equipment.

A year ago, senior mammographer Madeleine Mockridge was  using a CR system for mammography examinations.  Since then, the Hologic equipment has changed the client offering, as she explained: “In particular the speed of the system has enabled us to increase productivity, and the Hologic equipment has proved extremely reliable.  This is crucial to our one stop breast clinic approach where we aim to complete all breast procedures the patient may require during a single visit.”
