Spire Hartswood chooses desktop disk publishing

Spire Hartswood Hospital, Brentwood, has installed a RadVantage Primera SE Medical Disc Publisher with unique patient encryption. The system, supplied by A Somerville Limited, creates an encrypted password for each patient to AES 128, 192 and 256 as per IHE and NHS Connecting for Health, Dicom encryption requirements and also complying with DSCN.
Imaging services manager Andrew Milne explained that part of the reason he chose the SE was its competitive price and that there is no extra cost for the encryption solution.
