Spire Portsmouth discovers image quality in a small package
Philips Healthcare ultrasound applications specialist Karen DeVita, radiographer Mel Ford, specialist radiographer Beata Wdowia and outpatient sister Lisa Allison.
Spire Portsmouth Hospital, part of Spire Healthcare, has chosen a Philips ClearVue 550 ultrasound system with Active Array technology that integrates key imaging technologies into the transducer. Radiology manager Rosey Bell said: “It is exactly what we were looking for, with great image quality in a small package. We use the system mainly for obstetrics and the large, highly mobile screen makes it easy for patients to see what is going on.
“It is easy to move around and store, which is important to us as we use in it multiple clinics and, most important of all, it is easy to use.”
