Having invested in top-of-the-range MRI and CT scanners, Spire Tunbridge Wells Hospital has purchased a Hologic 3D Mammography digital breast tomosynthesis system.  Lead radiographer Christine Bell said: “We have three busy, one-stop breast clinics a week.  With the Hologic 3D Mammography solution we are able to offer the latest mammography technology, both for ladies who present for symptomatic reasons and clients who come to us for screening via the BUPA Wellness programme.”

Consultant radiologist Dr Neal Chhaya added: “I find the 3D imaging extremely valuable.  It is a great addition for our breast service and we are the first private hospital in Kent to offer this imaging modality.”
