St Albans again chooses reliable C-arms

Xograph Healthcare territory manager Iain Burley with radiographers Ben Thorn, Zoe Bright, Dylan Peters-King and Darren Corner.

St Albans City Hospital’s diagnostic imaging department has taken delivery of two compact mobile C-arm fluoroscopy systems from Xograph Healthcare.

The hospital is the elective care centre for the West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust and will use the Ziehm Solo mobile C-arms in its operating theatres.

Lead superintendent radiographer Nuala Littlechild said: “Having used Ziehm C-arms in the past we knew that they were reliable and well-made.  We chose to order two Solos because they are compact, easy to move and user-friendly. As they are used mainly for orthopaedics work, the image quality is perfectly satisfactory. Transition from the old C-arms has been very smooth.”
