St George’s chooses familiar fourth C-arm system

Radiographers Iona Mullins and Amandeep Hujan, Philips UKI product specialist mobile surgery Simon Bunce, radiographer Emma Madigan and Philips UKI account manager Kara Slaney.

St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has replaced existing equipment with a fourth BV Pulsera C-arm image intensifier that will be used in the day surgery unit.  It comes with an array of features including vascular and cardiac software as well as Philips’ Ortho Plus technology.

Superintendent radiographer Hitesh Patel said: “The BV Pulsera is an excellent product, which Philips supplied at short notice at an extremely competitive price.  We selected it for its ease of use and familiarity; it is second to none in the current market.”
