Technology upgrade enhances student learning

Radiography staff in the department of allied health professions at the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, University of the West of England, Bristol, have taken delivery of an equipment upgrade to existing x-ray facilities.

 

A CXDI-50G Canon portable dDR detector complements the existing practical radiography facilities that were installed in 2005 by Xograph Healthcare.

 

The BuckyStar dDR imaging system will provide additional imaging capabilities for students on the BSc (Hons) diagnostic imaging and radiotherapy and oncology programmes.
