Tesla system offers affordable options for simple infusions

Wardray Premise is offering a new system for delivering patient infusions during MRI scans.

The Tesla iV1 offers a cost-effective solution for simple infusions where MRI units or veterinary units do not need a full four-pump infusion system, with six or more hours of battery life.

The Tesla iV1 system works exclusively with the B. Braun Spaceplus pumps, the Spaceplus Perfusor or the Spaceplus Infusomat. The system offers shielding to the infusion pumps, allowing syringe-driven or IV delivery of fluids in the MRI scanning room. The MR9000 and MR9001 units come with the appropriate B. Braun pump.

Alternatively, a B. Braun Spaceplus pump from the department’s existing inventory can be allocated to the MRI unit and a Tesla iV1 rack and housing purchased.

The Tesla iV1 shielded rack can be attached to a bespoke equipment trolley as part of the Tesla iV1 range or it can be used on a tabletop or an existing trolley. The large viewing window and easy operation all add to the unit’s appeal, says Wardray. The shielded rack has an integrated indicator allowing continuous monitoring of the magnetic field.
