The Christie at Oldham earns quality mark

The Christie at Oldham’s radiography team is celebrating receiving the Macmillan Quality Environment Mark.
The Christie at Oldham, which treats many types of cancers for local patients, has received the Macmillan Quality Environment Mark after undergoing an inspection and gaining the highest possible score.
The award is the first of its kind to assess whether facilities meet the standards required by people living with cancer. Under the award, patients can expect a place that is “welcoming and accessible to all, respects their privacy and dignity, supports their comfort and wellbeing, gives them choice and personal control, and listens to their voice.”
