Consultant radiologist Dr Marcella Zagurova advanced practitioner radiographer Jane Baker and radiography assistant Lorraine Ede.

Weston General Hospital at Weston-Super-Mare recently selected a Toshiba Nemio XG for its one-stop breast care clinic.  The premium compact ultrasound scanner combines powerful performance with a small footprint.

Advanced practitioner radiographer Jane Baker said: “Its functionality is very well suited to meet the needs of this busy one-stop symptomatic breast service.”

She added: “Weston has always received excellent local after-sales, applications and engineer support from Toshiba and the addition of the new system brings our total number of Toshiba machines to five.”

The scanner comes backed by clinically validated technologies for secure diagnosis.  Its fully digital architecture provides image quality with excellent sensitivity.
