Theodora trailer embarks on a mission to boost screening rates everywhere

GE HealthCare’s new Theodora mobile screening solution is crafted for versatility, ensuring breast cancer screening is accessible for every woman, regardless of their location.

“At GE HealthCare we believe it is possible to survive breast cancer with early detection. We want to participate in that fight by increasing the screening participation rate of women across the globe,” the company says. “We know breast cancer can be frightening for women and it can be difficult to take the first step to even know if there is a cancer or not. We care to provide the best patient experience for them.”

With the new Theodora trailer solution, the company is embarking on two missions. The first is to create a trailer from scratch, designed to offer a seamless screening experience for healthcare professionals, and a warm, inviting interior design so that women do not feel they are entering an operating room. The second ambition is to steer this solution to every location where screening rates are too low and offer women the possibility to get a screening examination close to home. “We can also equip countries, regions and hospitals with Theodora so they can lead their screening programmes with the same comfort and proximity for their patients,” GE HealthCare concludes.
