Timely and efficient installation meets Raigmore’s needs

At Raigmore Hospital are radiographers Aileen Maclean and Jade Heneghan, consultant radiologist Dr Ian Gillespie, radiographer Isla Slater, consultant radiologist Dr David Goff, Toshiba Medical Systems applications specialist x-ray Carl Smith, angio/fluoro team leader Margaret Cuthbert, Toshiba Medical Systems account executive Scott Kearton, radiographer Morag Nicholl and lead radiographer Trisha Dawson.
Raigmore Hospital in Inverness has invested in a Toshiba Ultimax-i x-ray imaging system that offers three systems in one: angio, RF and DR. It includes a multi-directional interactive digital C-arm system, and has been configured to allow the radiographer to operate the C-arm away from the table side.
Angio/fluoro team leader Margaret Cuthbert said: “The equipment was selected as it met all the required specifications within the budgeting figures set. The turnkey project involving Modus and installation by Toshiba was timely and efficient. Training was comprehensive and the further unlimited training will be very beneficial.”
