Training is now straightforward at East Surrey Hospital

Diagnostic imaging assistant Lillian Cebreiro, CT radiographer Marisa Faustino, Bracco key account manager Phil Skinner, CT superintendent Shennan Jose, plain film lead Robert Bunding, specialist radiographer Johans Roa and radiographer Sandro Nobre.
East Surrey Hospital has installed a CT scanner that provides scans for A&E, out of hours, and inpatients, as well as taking the load off of the outpatient scanners when they are busy. With the addition of the Toshiba scanner and a CT Expres syringeless injector the department says it has been able to reduce its CTPA contrast amount from 80ml to 35-40ml with Bracco’s high concentration contrast media.
CT superintendent Shennan Jose said: “The CT Expres is extremely user friendly and makes training radiographers really simple and straightforward.”
