UK charities benefit from Canon’s customer satisfaction survey

Nearly £2,500 has been donated by Canon Medical Systems UK to charity in exchange for radiology customers completing a short online or telephone survey. The qualitative and quantitative survey enabled the viewpoints of radiographers, sonographers and clinicians to be collected to ensure ongoing improvement in the company’s offerings in the areas of product support and customer service.
The money raised will be split between three health-related charities in the UK: Little Hearts Matter, which offers help to anyone who is affected by the diagnosis of single ventricle heart condition; the Stroke Association, which works to change the world for people affected by stroke; and a leading national cancer research charity.
Managing director Mark Hitchman said: “Our customer satisfaction surveys are very important to gauge the views of the people we serve and for the wider healthcare ecosystem.
“Keeping equipment up-time rates high, being highly responsive to breakdowns and delivering smooth and quick equipment installations are vital to supporting our customers delivering frontline diagnostic imaging services to growing numbers of patients.
“It is part of our ‘made for life’ commitment to put the patient at the heart of everything we do and it’s great to see the results of this survey showing a significant increase in customer satisfaction since the last survey three years ago.”
