UKIO returns to an in-person event at the ACC Liverpool on July 4-6, 2022. As the UK’s largest imaging and oncology event it’s the place to be for practice-based content and to meet like-minded professionals who just might help you change your service.
With the return of the first in-person congress since 2019 comes an opportunity to refresh and rebuild the event. UKIO will be more exciting than ever.
More than 100 educational sessions to choose from
The programme offers three days’ worth of CPD and 100+ sessions aimed at a multidisciplinary audience – there is something for everyone. Find the full programme here and keep an eye on it as we continue to confirm sessions.
Hands-on and practice-based content
As we rebuild the event to return to a face-to-face congress, we’ll be focusing on hands-on and interactive sessions – including interactive case reviews and practical ultrasound and breast biopsy workshops, where you’ll benefit from small-group learning and clinically-applicable content.
An exciting plenary programme
As well as the UKIO debate, which will be back by popular demand, we’re thrilled to have secured two very exciting plenary speakers – Dr Mike Capps, creator of global gaming phenomenon, Fortnite, and Pat Symonds, chief technical officer of Formula 1. After Pat’s talk, you’ll even be able to see if you could make it as a Formula 1 driver in our full size F1 simulator in the exhibition.
An interactive exhibition
UKIO is the best place to find all the key suppliers under one roof and we have already sold out the exhibition floorplan, with many companies joining us for the first time. As well as a packed programme of educational and demo sessions by exhibitors, this year’s exhibition will feature some new activities, including a room dedicated to content on community diagnostic centres, and an Innovation in Action hub where companies will demonstrate their AI solutions in a real and tangible way. There will also be a central piazza where you’ll find both fun and educational activities throughout the three days.
As always, the exhibition will also feature a comprehensive poster display of the work and research being conducted in the field – this year, all presented as interactive ePosters.
Meet old friends and new
It’s been a while since we’ve all been together so we’re placing an emphasis on networking this year, with a diverse programme of formal and informal networking – find out more here.
A healthy congress
We want to take care of our attendees while you’re with us and we’ll be running a programme of wellness activities including massage, a chill-out zone, yoga, running and more.
