UKRC gets off to a flying start for PACS provider

UK-based PACS provider Insignia Medical Systems brought a touch of British history to this year’s UKRC exhibition, displaying the iconic Spitfire known as Lucy.

As a British supplier focused on NHS and UK private clients, Insignia wanted to give visitors a unique  experience that reflects the ethos of the company.  From the feedback received, the company says it was completely overwhelmed by the popularity of the display.

Managing director Richard Dormer said: “So many people were saying how their mothers, fathers and grandparents worked with Spitfires in some way, from building them and parachute packing, to delivering and flying them.  It was truly overwhelming to hear so many inspirational and personal stories from our visitors, while helping to raise awareness of the Fylde Spitfire Memorial Fund.”
