A successful charity campaign by The Friends of Lewes Victoria Hospital has raised the funds to purchase a Hitachi Arietta V70 ultrasound platform for the community hospital’s radiology and ultrasound department.

Radiology superintendent Jane Mackenzie-Bennett said: “All users are very pleased with the excellent image quality and ease of use of the Arietta V70.  We chose Hitachi for its all-round high level of performance which will help with the continued development of our ultrasound service at Lewes.  We have also been very impressed with the excellent support we have received from the Hitachi team throughout the procurement process and during the post installation period.”
