Uni modernises medical school

Philips applications specialist Natalie Parkin, Charles Sloane with sales specialist Steve Oliver, senior lecturer Steven Patefield, and x-ray business leader Stephanie Holden.

 

In a deal worth approximately £1.3m, Philips Healthcare is supplying the University of Cumbria’s School of Medical Imaging Science with digital x-ray equipment, including PACS and RIS systems.   

 

The project will consist of three DigitalDiagnosts with integrated CR, two BuckyDiagnost systems, two BV Endura mobile C-arms together with iSite PACS and XIRIS technology.  

 

When the project is complete, the University will have one of the best equipped schools of medical imaging science in the UK.
