User group meets in Yorkshire

Ultrasonographers from Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust pose for a picture at a user training course organised by Toshiba Medical Systems.

 

A user training course was held for all users of Toshiba ultrasound systems in the Mid-Yorkshire NHS Trust. Aim was to consolidate user knowledge of Toshiba ultrasound systems in the trust and to explain recently-introduced new technologies.

 

Presentations included a presentation by Joop van de Kant, the company’s European clinical marketing manager. He explained elastography with quantification and Micropure imaging.

 

Attendees were able to try out new technologies and a 4D transducer using phantoms and a live model.

 

Toshiba’s ultrasound marketing manager Stuart Mills said: “These ultrasound study days that these are what our customers want”.
