Vantage MRI platforms include eco mode to conserve energy

Canon Medical says its range of MRI systems has been designed to meet the needs of diagnostic imaging departments as well as patients.

The Vantage Galan 3.0T, Vantage Orian 1.5T and Vantage Elan compact 1.5T MRI all feature Advanced intelligent Clear-IQ Engine (AiCE) technology and Compressed Speeder to provide automated workflow and pure digital image quality.

All models incorporate an eco mode to help with environmental energy conservation and Pianissimo acoustic noise reduction technology.

MR modality manager Vanessa Ellis said: “Patient comfort is already a highly reported benefit on the latest generation of MRI scanners from Canon Medical UK. For example, the Pianissimo acoustic noise reduction technology helps make the examination experience less distressing. Now, with shorter procedures powered by AiCE, a patient can be in and out of the scanning environment even more swiftly. AiCE removes the trade-off between SNR, resolution and time, producing high quality images, often in shorter times, and is also successful in positively influencing patient pathways.”
