Venous ultrasound training collaboration gives delegates access to wide range of equipment

Wessex Diagnostic’s annual Venous Ultrasound Imaging course saw the start of a new collaboration with Canon Medical Systems for the vascular course programme.  Delegates from Nigeria, Jordan, Germany, Finland, the Netherlands and the UK, had access to the Canon Medical Systems range, from tablet to premium-end, as part of the exhibition and guided practical workshops.

The course is a combination of lectures, demonstrations and workshop sessions with volunteers, covering ultrasound colour duplex imaging of the deep and superficial venous system.

“The vascular programme uses technical lectures and hands-on practical workshops to develop learning.  By having the full range of ultrasound equipment on the courses, delegates get to experience different options with faculty and system support,” said Helen Humphries of Wessex Diagnostic.
