West Middlesex launches cardiac CT service

Toshiba Medical Systems account executive Stephen Whale, consultant radiologist and CT clinical lead Dr Lara Curry, CT superintendent radiographer Hitesh Patel and senior CT radiographer Julie Ellis at West Middlesex University Hospital.

 

West Middlesex University Hospital in Isleworth has launched a cardiac CT service since its purchase of a Toshiba 128-slice Aquilion CX CT scanner.  

 

Consultant radiologist specialising in cardiac CT Dr Tee Koh said: “West Middlesex has launched a CT cardiac service and we are impressed with the relative ease of the scanning process and with the image quality obtained.  This is a tribute to the excellent support from Toshiba applications specialists who attend our scanning sessions.”
