West Suffolk Hospital has strengthened its MRI department and is celebrating the extension to its services. Phase one of the Chrystal-financed project is complete with the installation of the Siemens Healthcare wide bore Magnetom Aera MRI scanners and the purchase of two Medrad Spectris Solaris power injectors from Bayer.

West Suffolk MRI superintendent Claire Moore said: “This has been a significant project for us and a big team effort, so we are very excited about the service we are providing, and are already able to report positive feedback from many of our patients, especially our breast ladies.”
