Wimbledon receives imaging support on site

Central Middlesex Hospital consultant radiologist and specialist in MSK imaging Dr Andrew Hine, club doctor Dr Jane Allen, GE Healthcare application manager Karen Walton, consultant radiologist Dr Christine Heron, nurse administrators Geraldine Ball and Siobhan Bridgwater and tournament sports physician Dr Philip Bell.

At the Wimbledon Tennis Championships this year, GE Healthcare provided support with Logiq E9 and Logiq e ultrasound systems in the sophisticated medical centre.  On hand were some of the leading authorities in sports medicine.

“We were delighted to have the support of GE for imaging during the three weeks of the championships again this year,” said consultant radiologist Dr Andrew Hine.  “As in previous years, GE provided state-of-the-art ultrasound machines that enabled us to perform ultrasound scanning on site at both the main championships and the qualifying tournament.”
