Imaging capabilities at a large Scottish hospital have received a boost with the installation of Konica Minolta’s latest digital radiography room.  University Hospital Crosshouse near Kilmarnock is expected to benefit from the rapid imaging and wireless technology provided by the X70 room.

Dr John Amoore, head of the department of medical physics with responsibility for capital procurement, said: “We have received only positive feedback from our radiology staff for the new installations.

“The imaging speed and quality of the X70 room has helped optimise our workflow, as has the wireless flat panel detector.  Added to the ergonomic design of the rooms, the value for money provided by the installation has been considerable.”
