Wireless networking speeds up urology service

The urology day care facility at Letterkenny General Hospital has taken delivery of a mobile image intensifier from independent diagnostic imaging supplier Xograph Healthcare.

Radiology services manager Eleanor Monaghan said: “It will enable us to produce high quality images which can be sent effortlessly to PACS using wireless networking technology, not only this but the unit is also very user friendly and easy to understand.”
