Wishaw expands ultrasound service in maternity assessment unit
Hitachi clinical applications specialist Ann Harvey, lead obstetric sonographer Carol Winters, consultant obstetrician Dr Colin Malcolm and clinical specialist sonographer Julie MacGregor.
The maternity assessment unit at Wishaw Hospital in North Lanarkshire is expanding its essential ultrasound service. Four Hitachi Arietta V70 units with an extensive transducer range have been installed for dedicated obstetric and fetal medicine ultrasound applications.
Lead obstetric sonographer Carol Winters said: “We felt the system offered the best imaging on the market which, together with Hitachi Aloka’s product support, were major influencing factors in our decision.”
