Linnaeus-owned Woodward Veterinary Practice in Ashby-de-la-Zouch has installed a CDSR Small Animal DR system supplied by imaging company Veterinary X-rays.
Lead vet James Alexander said the new equipment would further boost the service it provides to patients across north Leicestershire and south Derbyshire. He commented: “This new x-ray system is regarded as the pinnacle of small animal imaging systems, with features that no other system offers. It really is in a class of its own and will enable us to gain far better, far quicker images of soft tissue and bone to help us diagnose injuries and illness to determine the best course of treatment. Our cutting-edge x-ray suite is in daily use and the new equipment is already making a major difference in the quality of service and care we can provide to our clients.”
The practice offers consultation rooms, modern operating theatres with the latest anaesthetic equipment, a dental suite including dental x-ray, an in-house laboratory plus ECG and ultrasound examinations.
“As this latest investment shows, we are committed to keeping abreast of the latest developments in modern veterinary practice,” Alexander added.
