Yeovil District Hospital chooses third Hologic DXA scanner
Yeovil District Hospital, which is now part of the newly formed Somerset NHS Foundation Trust has, for the third time, chosen a Hologic DXA scanner supplied by Vertec Scientific based on the ‘excellent’ track record and customer support. The department performs a number of scans including bone densitometry, vertebral fracture assessment, single energy femur scans plus total body com- position. The system is designed to offer the versatility to acquire all of these scans while delivering high image quality.
