York trust invests in breast imaging service

Consultant radiologist Dr Marijke Zuijdwijk, breast imaging services manager Debbie Brian, principal radiographer Elizabeth McBurnie, advanced practitioner sonographers Gill Sellars and Emma Knowles, Philips ultrasound account manager Claire Neil and ultrasound applications specialist Suman Bassi.

York Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust has chosen an Affiniti 70 supplied by Philips UKI for its breast imaging service.  Breast imaging services manager Debbie Brian said: “We have always found Philips equipment reliable and good value for money.  The system is a firm favourite with the radiologists and sonographers and we are very pleased with this addition.  After-sales service and applications experts were helpful and professional, and we received extensive equipment training.”
