Northumbria University is one of the largest universities in the UK, with more than 30,000 students from 134 countries.  Located in Newcastle upon Tyne with a London campus, the university offers a variety of study programmes across four faculties, including that of health and life sciences.

Walshe said: “We are really excited to have the Hologic scanner within the department of sport, exercise and rehabilitation.  The staff at Vertec Scientific have been really great in helping us set up the scanner.  It will certainly improve the quality of our research in optimising human performance and promoting good health and wellbeing.”
