Whittington Hospital receives mobile CT scanner

Whittington Hospital, London, is undergoing a full departmental renovation that will span a two-year period.  The initial phase includes the replacement of its current CT system, which meant an interim mobile CT solution was required.  Fairford Medical delivered and commissioned a Canon Medical Systems Aquilion Prime mobile CT scanner in early March.

Operational lead at Whittington Health NHS Trust Adrian Trinidade said: “I want to take this opportunity to thank Fairford Medical’s clinical manager David Doherty for making everything so easy and hassle-free for us while we undergo our CT upgrade.

“The team has been outstanding from day one and I would highly recommend its services.  The equipment and the environment are of the highest standards and focused on patient experience, which is extremely important when we deliver our diagnostic services at Whittington Health NHS Trust.”
